- Kapocin 750 Injection is an antibiotic used in the treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis, in combination with other medicines
- It works by stopping the growth of tubercular bacteria which have become resistant to the commonly used first-line medicines
- It is given as an injection directly into a muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional
- It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better
- Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.
- This medicine may lead to kidney damage, balance disorder (loss of balance), and hearing loss
