  • Jakavi 20mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but try to have it at the same time every day to get the most benefits

  • This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time

  • Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects

Liver: CAUTION: Jakavi 20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Jakavi 20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Kidney: CAUTION: Jakavi 20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Jakavi 20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.^Use of Jakavi 20mg Tablet is not advised in patients with moderate to severe kidney disease.
Driving: UNSAFE: Jakavi 20mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Breast feeding: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR: Jakavi 20mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnency: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR: Jakavi 20mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby.
