Altopraz-O Tablet is a combination of two medicines which is used in the treatment of nausea and vomiting
It is used only when prescribed by a doctor
This medicine works by controlling the acidity and altering the chemicals in the brain that trigger nausea or vomiting
Altopraz-O Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor
Take it on an empty stomach, but try taking it at a fixed time each day
Remember you should not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor
In case you vomit within one hour of taking a dose, then take another dose and avoid heavy meals throughout the day
Before taking this medicine, it is better to inform your doctor if you have any liver disease as the dose of your medicine may need adjustment
Your doctor may regularly monitor your liver enzymes, especially when the medicine is prescribed for a long time.
It is a well-tolerated and safe medicine and has a very low incidence of any harmful effects
But, it may cause certain side effects like constipation, stomach pain, fatigue, headache, flatulence, and flushing of skin

Limited information is available in patients taking this medicine for more than one day.
Driving:	UNSAFE: Altopraz-O Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Breast feeding:	SAFE IF PRESCRIBED: Altopraz-O Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnency:	SAFE IF PRESCRIBED: Altopraz-O Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
